Need help and ideas.
I'm a rookie when it comes to adding horsepower to these engines. This is my second 4th generation z28 camaro, my 1st was a 98 Z28 m6. I didn't have it long enough to really get to do anything to it. I just bought a 2002 z28 with 122,000miles on it with an a4. Its bone stock and I wanted to know what mods I would have to do to reach 425rwhp. Any help will be appreciated

Get a trans cooler and build the 60e nothing smaller than a 3600 stall, ask Martin on the cam choice but id say something bigger than my cam for sure, heads you can get 243 heads for a decent price or better yet get a good head/cam package and up grade the gears to 3:73, or higher. Lastly full bolt ons, headers go with 1 7/8 long tubes.

Honestly idk lol its at the shop bc its messed up at the moment. How ever with SLP Lid, pacesetter lt 1 3/4 headers and my ported heads i made 335rwhp and 350rwtrq.
I plan on changing my headers pretty soon to get 1 7/8 or 2" haven't decided yet. But Martin said my cam goes great with my heads so once my car is running correctly i can let you know how much power its making.

Someone told me if I go bigger then a ls6 cam I won't be able to keep my car emissions legal. I stay in Los Angeles in they're super tight on emissions out here.
