Default Looking at the AFR 205cc Mongoose Street Heads

With these heads, what cam would be recommended? Will the TR224 be nice with these? I know they are relatively new and there is hardly anything on these for my application. I just have the mods in my sig. I am just looking for a nice streetable car. I am looking to purchase long tubes, ls6 intake, maybe a street torque converter. Can I get away from the LS6 Intake for now and leave on the stocker? I will be doing the work myself. What are some big ticket items that I would need for the H/C swap? I probably have more questions to come, search button has helped with a few things. Thanks.

research in the internal forum. i wouldnt even look at the AFR's until they have proven there worth on multiple setups. i would get a stall first before any heads or cam. get the stall, LT's, ls6 intake and a nice tr224 cam.

Stall first, then I would say LTs and a LS6 intake.

That should hold you over for a while, then go with a cam and some ported heads/or the AFRs if they are proven by the time you get ready to buy some.

I guess I will start buying all the stuff, LTs, LS6 Intake, Stall, Cam, then if I have any money left over I will go ahead and buy the heads.

Patriot has stage 2 heads that are 1/3 the price, should flow almost as well, and actually fit your 98 car much cheaper/easier for $999.
