Default Having problem

I just got some new bfg drags and went to the track.I was stalling at about 4,000 rpm and still boging.I didn't want to go any higher because it idn't want to break anything.I wanted to see how I can leave the hole with out boging.
I did manage a 1.97 60' but i know i can hit better.Any help on this.

Is it bogging right off the line or after you have let completely off the clutch?

You need a aftermarket clutch to transfer the power more to the ground and give you a better launch. But then you might need a new rear end if your BFG's hook.

That would be my advice, the stock gears also could be bogging you down also.

I'LL TRY TO LEAVE THE LINE WITH A LOWER RPM AND RIDE THE CLUTCH.
I'LL SEE HOW IT GOES

I don't mean to insult you or anything, but you do have the Traction Control off (ASR - Camaro)? Thought I'd ask, sometimes it's the simpliest things.
