Default offroad y pipe

I have a 98 trans am with a 2 inch lowering kit on it and want to change my y pipe. Do most offroad y pipes hang the same as the stock or do they hug the bottom of the car better?

if your set on an offroad y pipe get yourself the bbk y pipe, mine was a tighter fit than the factory one.

You gain a little clearance with no cats. Position your clamps right for a little more clearance also.I'm running T.S.

+1 on this my BBK y pipe fits really nice and never scrapes.

All of the aftermarket Ys I've had, hung lower than
stock. That's Jet-Hot, the old style TSP, and the SLP
one that works with OE cats. So cross all of these off.
