Default amp wires for battery relocation?

I was looking at a few battery relocation pictures and saw a lot of people are just using amplifier /stereo wires for their relocation. but I read someone posted that they don't recommend the use of one to relocate the battery.

^^ this was after I already installed a 0 guage amp wire...

anyways I was wondering on what the truth is for this. can it be used or not?

also is 200amp fuse too big?

im planning on adding a fuse on the negative side.

I used 0 gauge amp wire, i never even considered anything else. When I relocated to the back without doing anything else to the car, the check engine light came on for something random, can't remember what it was, so i added a couple extra grounds from body to the block while I was doing my turbo build and never had any more issues from it .
