Default Car won't idle, dies

On a cold start this morning and whenever I take my foot off the gas pedal the engine dies. Out on the road it's dangerous going around the corner with no PS. The engine otherwise runs great as long as I have my foot on the accelerator. Before I started the engine this AM I did use a feather duster to clean the engine, however I can't conceive that could have caused a problem. How about some ideas guys!

my car does that sometimes if you let it sit for more than a day.. start it up and push the gas.. to about 2000 rpm for about 10 seconds then slowly... let it down it should idle around 800rpm.. if it starts to die give it a little gas.. once it starts idling.. give it a good 4-5 minutes to warm up.. the tempeture gauge should be close to 210 right in the middle before you take off and then you wont die..

Check-seat all of your injector connectors,
spark plug boots, TPS, IAC, MAF connectors,
and anything else that might have wiggled
off (or been loose, but happy until touched).
Also any emissions hoses that might have
some undone and given you a vacuum leak.

If it continues to die, I wouldn't throttle-
crutch it - let it die (in the driveway) and
restart it, so's it learns better.

The bellows on my 96' formula cracked at the bottom and did the same thing. I taped around it and reconnected it to the TB and it was back to normal.

I hve no idea what your problem might be, but I second the notion that it's dangerous. I had an electrical problem with my GTO that caused the car to die at 40 mph and not restart. No steering, no brakes, up over the curb and into somebody's yard. Thankfully, no damage.
