No help from me, but I am very curious how the TR6060 fits in a GTO.

You'll need both the BCM and ECM computers and all wiring harnesses. There's some stuff like the gas pedal too that would need to be changed for drive by wire.

you would need to convert the tr6060 to the same format as a t56. Figure about 1500 ish for that and a basic rebuild. other than that everything bolts in and will just require some harness adapters and a lingenfelter 58x conversion box

So don't get the tr6060 and get a t56 magnum?

So how then would you use a LS3 drive by wire TB with a cable TB computer? If he swaps computers, harness and BCM he'd only have to get the pedal. Should be able to get everything from the same donor car and you'd not need the LPE converter.

I find it hard to believe a Camaro BCM will talk to a GTO chassis. For a swap into an '04 I would assume you would use GTO electronics and after market cable throttle body. The injectors, knock sensors, and crank trigger would need adapters. Then HPT or EFI-L to tune the LS1B GTO computer for the new bigger motor. Ignition and engine accessories from an '04 GTO. This would keep gauges, ABS and such happy.

The TR6060 can fit into a GTO, but there is some work that needs to happen. There is a write-up on LS1GTO.
The T56 Magnum is NOT a bolt-in trans and also requires some work to make it fit. Your best bet is to find a GTO T56 or a 4th Gen T56. Those are the only true bolt-in, don't have to do anything else manual transmissions.

As for the LS3, you have three ways of doing this: you can use the converter box from Lingenfelter to convert the signal from 58x to 24x, you can replace the 58x reluctor on the crankshaft to a 24x, or you can find a 24x crankshaft from a 5.3 Vortec, 6.0 Vortec, LS1, or LS2 and install it in the block. You have to change over to a GTO oil pan anyways, so I would just do it right and eliminate the potential headaches of the converter box. I believe that swapping the reluctors would also mean that you need to change to a 24X crank sensor.

You will also need to change the cam sprocket to a 1x cam gear. Unfortunately, I don't think a single-bolt, 1x cam gear exists, so you will need to switch the cam to a 3 bolt cam. If you are swapping camshafts anyways, this isn't a big deal. You can also just pick up a stock LS2 cam for $50 and use that. You will need to buy an extension harness for both the camshaft position sensor and the MAP sensor since they both are located on the front of the LS3, as opposed to the rear of the LS1.

Aside from that, you will need to plug the oil diptsick hole in the block since the GTO uses a dipstick hole in the oil pan. You will need to drill out the knock sensor locations on the sides of the block and tap to 10x1.5mm pitch for the single wire knock sensors, and also buy an extension harness to reach down to the sides of the block.

You can purchase a Nick Williams 92mm throttle body to allow for cable operation, and SDPC makes a nice cable bracket that bolts to the back of the NW throttle body.

You will also need to buy harness adapters so you can plug your 04 harness into the LS3 injectors. Racetronix makes nice adapters for this.

It sounds like a lot, but it is rather simple.
