Default Help with AEM WideBand A/F R Gauge

I just got my Aem 30-4110 wideband 02 sensor and I've been trying to figure out how to calabrate it. I know you don't have to do the 'fresh air' with the sensor but there is setting on the actual gauge. It has setting P0, p1, 02, p3, and p4. I don't know what or how I should do this or should I have my tuner do it.?

Never heard of an AEM UEGO that needed a calibration process.

I've owned 3 of those and have never done such a process. I have with my 2 Innovate widebands, but they call for it specifically.

If fact, I think AEM advertises this unit as 'no fresh air calibration' required.

Drew is right. I have the AEM wideband and it did not require calibration.

What about the setting on the back of the actual gauge of position p0, p1, p2, p3, and p4?

I don't remember which is which, but I know one is a numeric reading for air/fuel and one is Lamda...not sure on the others. It should say in the papers that came with the gauge.

Edit: if you didn't move the switch, I'm pretty sure it should be on the "normal" setting. I know I didn't change mine.

Quote from a PDF I downloaded :

Configuring Calibration Outputs
If a different O2 sensor calibration is desired, the AEM calibration can be changed to
one of three available. The AEM default position is (P0) if an AFR Gauge was
purchased and (P1) if a Lambda Gauge was purchased. These settings implement a
linear calibration with the most useful voltage range possible (0-5V). The AFR
calibration (P2) is linear and similar to (P1) with a slightly smaller voltage range (1-2V).
The AFR calibration (P3) emulates the Autronic Wideband O2 Sensor calibration (0-1V).
The AFR calibration (P4) emulates a non-linear Nernst Cell calibration (0-1V). Refer to
the Table and Graph for specific calibration details.
To change the calibrations, a precision flat head screw diver is needed. Locate the
small hole located on the back of the AEM gauge, as shown below.

Basically, put it on P0, install everything and go. Plug and play.
