I am not a tech guru but the first question they would probably ask is are there any codes and is the ses light on?

Do you know if the car has been tuned? Because the tuner should have tuned that out where your ses light wouldn't be on. I'd check and see what codes it's flashing, they do it free at your local parts store. I wouldn't think a Nissan Altima would pull you unless it was spraying lol.

Had it scanned don't remember the numbers but egr/emission/air/02 codes all came up. I dont think its wver been tuned before i have to pop the clutch at 3k to spin a tire on dry road and really get on it hard in the wet....would a tune hold back the power that much?? My lt1 auto with bolt ons will eat this thing up really disappointed in it the car only has 140k has new plugs, wires, gm o2 sensors.oh and it only has 2 sensors instead of 4.

As far as power no clue never been tuned or dynoed to my knowledge. If i had to guess seat of the pants 250-300 my lt car was dynoed at 330 to the tires and its not even a close race my wife drove the lt car in drive letting the car shift and pulled me 2 to 3 car lengths before it shifted to 2nd

None car doesn't smoke rattle or knock just no *****. Im thinking it needs a tune but dont want to waste the money as i plan on h/c/i mods in the future Which will require a tune then as well. Im almost thinking it needs a motor?? ive always been amazed at even stock ls1 cars at the track but needless to say very disappointed in this one

There new just installed them maybe 1k miles ago when i originally thought it was the issue also changed all coils. Sometimes when driving it does seem like a cylinder comes in like hitting a nitrous button almost. Will the injectors do this i haven't changed them??

Yeah, one or two of them may be clogged. How many miles are on them?

One or two of your fuel injectors may be clogged. Check the injectors on the cylinders that did not get very hot.

Theres some kind of test where they put them on the fuel rail off the car and the will have i think fuel pressure to the rail and see how much the all squirt. If you change them and it doesent fix it i would do a compression test to see if your engine is healthy.

There's a couple of tests you can do before removing the injector from the car.

You can do a noid light test to make sure that the injector is receiving a signal.

And then if you buy an injector tester (you'd need one to do the test allmotor suggested) you can hook it up to the injector and it will activate it. If you hear the injector ticking you at least know it's functioning. If it passes those two tests its time to pull the injector.

You can hook the injectors up to a rail, apply pressure, and then with the injector tester activate them and see if you get a good spray. if you do, something else is wrong. If you don't, well...

in the case of that test though, i would think it might be easier to just buy a couple of new injectors and throw them on.

Could i swap the injectors around on the cylinders and see if the dead cylinder follows the injector?
