04 GTO Swap Questions gauges?
Just getting ready to start my project. Have a 64 Olds Cutlass I am transplanting an 04 GTO LS2 into.
Motor and Trans came complete with CPU and all wiring:
I am hoping I can utilize an 04 GTO gauge set. I may be way off base, but I am thinking the following will work?? I purchased one that included wire pigtail and is for an Auto Trans which mine is.
Things I assume will work with the gauge cluster:
Should plug into the Transmission
Should read all motor sensors
Tach should work
Speedo should work
Concerned about the following if the above is true.
1. I am wondering if I add a 04 GTO fuel sending unit the gas gauge will work? Have an aeromotive in-tank kit for fuel delivery, but wondering what I am needing to get the gauges to work.
2. Will I have tons of error codes? Airbags, seatbelts, crap I am forgetting..
3. Is there an ignition component I need to figure out?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggested links for this conversion.

You will need the GTO Fuel pump for the ECM to read the fuel level........You will also need the BCM and the PIM......

Pim?
I found plenty of used BCM's on EBay. I assume any is good to go? These aren't specific to AT/Man transmissions or anything funky?
Forgive my ignorance.. But what the hell is a PIM? Plug in Module? Maybe the plug from the ECM to the BCM?
