Unhappy installed a 99 lm7 and getting overheating issues

I swapped a 99 lm7 into a wagoneer and I am now having overheating issues. I have a dual fan griffin radiator and both fans are jumpered together as Low temp fan. I am able to hold temp at idle but after a 4 min test at 2500rpm the temp can get up to 230. The temp will come back down after the test but why am I getting such high temp's to begin with? This build is a rock crawler and I will consistently be moving slow with high rpm's. Any help will be appreciated. Please see what I have done already:
Jumpered both fans together
I have burped it multiple times
changed thermostat
bled air out the steam cross over tubing
*have not changed head gasket due to my knowledge, no one has been that deep into the engine.

How do you have the heater core hose hooked up on the water pump?
