Hello from NE Texas! I am (finally LOL) the proud owner of a white 2001 Z28 6sp., i spent MONTHS researching ths car and was originally gonna buy a LT1 for cost reasons , but i found this one w/35k and still under warranty for 13.5 and i had to get it, so fast and so new,anyway.

i have many questions, but i do knwo how to use the search function!

i have really two that are to general for a search, 1) while white is nice it seems kinda bland on my car, has anyone seen a white and ? color scheme that looked nice and not rice?

and secondly is whats up w/that q-ball gearshift ****!?!

I think "hugger" orange stripes on a white Z would look good!.

go to the appearance section for idea's, theres plenty of pics to go through. and ya, the q-ball sucks, i replaced mine with a nice leather hursts ****, after i got the pro 5.0 w/lss.

my friend has a 94 Z28 with black racing stripes...its not terribly original but it looks mean and not ricey at all. BTW: welcome to the board!

thanks alot for the info, i am using the search best i can, 24K dial up sucks for picks. i am excited about this car, last muscle car i had was a 89 LX 5.0, fast, but nothing like this! i am much more into "go" than "show" but it is a sweet ride. i have pics but no way to host/post. also, i did a detail today (all day , to include under the hood area) and found i was low on brake fluid, any suggestions on brand/type. and do i need special tools to replace plugs, besides extensions and the usual?

also this site seems to load so much slower than everything else, do i need to enable java or some crazy deal like that?
