Default PO443 code? (EVAP) What can cause it?

It states: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Purge Sol Control.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Loose gas cap but i'd say the solenoid on the charcoal canister. Without looking at the car can't give an accurate diagnosis, but thats the general consensus of evap codes.

If it had to do with a bad gas cap or canaster I think you'd get an evap leak code. Sounds like the solonoid could be shot. On LS1's its on the drivers side of the motor near the throttle body. Not sure how to check it, Usually I just rip emissions compnents off
