WOW, build #0001
I called SLP today to run my Vin#, they said that my build # is 0001 and it is 1 of 226 Super Sports with its color and options, is this rare or am I just smiling over nothing? I Bought this car 2 weeks ago with 11,000 miles after wanting one for A LONG TIME. Long live the F-BODY!

Rare is defined by whether or not you can find a dumbass to pay more for it.
If it were me, I'd pay much less for that car. The first run cars have tons of quality issues normally and there are a bunch of engineering changes made to compensate.
Edit: It wasn't the first year of production so none of that should matter. I'm just rambling.

BTW...congrats on the new SS though!

eh, its a 2000, 3rd model year of the ls1 ss. WHat makes you think he'd have any more issues than the 99 guys?
Rare = finding someone who cares enough to pay more. I think it would be cool. And considering they made more black than any other color that year, and you are 1 of 126 with your options, and black..its pretty rare. Nice lightweight t-topless model. Good score. Now go wax that baby up

No T-Tops? Damn do you have any pictures? I do not recall ever seeing an SS (or a Z28 for that matter) without T-Tops...
Lol... our SS is #10354... Quite a ways away from being build number 0001 for our model year... oh well we love it all the same...

that's pretty cool! I don't think it's worth anything more though.
No tops? Lots of them locally here. DenzSS on this board has an 01 SS with no tops, A4, and tan leather. Thinks that's rare? Probably a 1 of 1.
