Default Which driveshaft for 460le and dana s60?

My car has a Three rivers driveshaft 125640033 on it currently. It also has a Dana Strange S60 rear. I'm assuming that whoever installed it had to shorten the stock drive shaft by 1.625 inches to get it to fit and that they also use a u-joint conversion to go from 1310 to 1350?

In any case, I need to upgrade it.

I was thinking about a PST sportsman 3.5" aluminum but after the slip yoke upgrade it's like $500 shipped. Was hopping to keep this upgrade under 300 and have it bolt right in. Any other recommendations?

Well it's between the PST aluminum 3.5" and a chromoly 3" from strange with the spicer joints. ($329 + shipping) bolt right in. Length of drive shaft for a 4l60e to a Dana S60 is 39 5/8 center of u joint to center u joint.

I have the PST 3.5" aluminum between a 4l60e and fab 9. I can't give much of a review yet since I'm mid build and have only driven the car with stock motor, but it's gonna be transmitting a ton of power and everything I read on here said it would do what I wanted.

Can you call both places and ask them? I'm thinking I wouldn't want people I don't
know to give me there opinion or wild guess on something like a drive shaft.
If you are up there in power to where you need to upgrade your driveshaft
surely you wouldn't cheap out on it. just my .02

Give us a call... We sell a ton of driveshafts from both Strange and PST, we can give you the right specs and correct yoke selection for your particular needs.

Keep in mind there can be a good difference in the quality of the trans yoke that will affect the strength and vibration of the new shaft. We typically use a higher quality USA slip yoke than others that sell the same shafts and it makes a world of difference when you are considering high speed vibes. We also guarantee the lowest prices at the same time so you get the best possible deal with MWC.
