Tickety Tickety Tickety So after 5 miles of a 6% grade taken in 3rd a couple days ago, my truck apparently developed a loud lifter.
6.0 in a 2002 K2500 with 253K miles. Truck is new to me this past summer.
We got over the top of the pass and shifted back to OD and five miles later all was back to silence.
What's happening here? Oil pressure looked good per the gauge, but the OP gauge is a bit dodgy.
Is there an issue with drainback and the oil pan not refilling at a sustained 3K rpm?
