The relief valve looked like it had a problem and there wan't a tube connected to the drain off (that should have been a clue). Other local stores don't have one with a longer hose.

I thought about just buying this one(it has the long hose): https://www.amazon.com/Actron-CP7838...ressure+tester
It looks like that should be fine as long as the hose is long enough to temporarily tape to the windshield for a WOT test run. Before buying it though, are there are any other parts stores local to you that you could borrow/rent from? Oops, just noticed that you already tried the other stores, too bad nobody has the longer hose versions.

Orielly's said they would have another one in on Tuesday. But at this point, I'm about ready to buy one to have it on hand. The one that I linked to has a 6' hose and great reviews.

OK, I did two tests tonight and shot video and here are the results after studying the vid:

Key on was 58-60 psi then drops down to ~54 after pump turns off. Idle was 56-58 psi. Normal driving prior to WOT was 56-57 psi.
WOT dropped to 54 psi.

Sounds like that pump is getting weak, and it might show even lower readings in hotter ambient conditions and/or as the pump is operated for a longer period.

Gotcha. I appreciate the advise. Looks like the Racetronix pump is popular.

I discovered that my front brakes were dragging. I recall lubing the caliper pins when I did breaks a few months back. When I lowered car a few weeks ago, i noticed that the front calipers wouldn't turn freely. In fact, It took a good bit of effort to turn them. So, i torn into the breaks last night and the pins are fine. I decided to rebuild the calipers and replace the front break hoses. Hubs are easy to turn now. Maybe that can partly explain my lower trap speed on some previous E/T's. Heading to the strip tonight to find out. I still haven't done anything with my fuel pump, but its on my list.

I stumbled onto this set on CL and couldn't pass it up for $500. Dark Star 94's with 275/50r15 555r and MT Sportsman 26x7.5x15's. I do wish the rear tucked in under the fender a little more. I'm looking into the facing 3/8" off the backside to achieve this. The front wheels drop my weight by 44 lbs and the rear removes 16 lbs. I'm hanging onto my 10 spoke wheels but I'm hoping these will get my in the 11's with better air. Hopefully these 555r's will hook as well as my Toyo TQ's. TQ's have a "00" treadwear and the 555r has a "100". I'm prepared to heat 'em up a good 5-6 seconds.
