Default Best Headers for a 02 Camaro?

What is the best bang for your buck headers? I want a nice tone as well, I got a pretty good budget. Was looking at TSP, or Kooks. Thanks!

Either of those 2 options should be fine, but if you really want to help the tone pay attention to how you merge your exhaust.
Tsp I believe has a nice y pipe with a good merge.
I as well as many others here have a custom y with Flowmaster merge. The better helps scavenging and keeps the tone frome being real raspy

Yeah I do like the way that the TSP's sounds and I hear the installation is fairly easy. Thinking about going with that.

Default Best headers

Check out ARH headers and Y-pipe. All stainless. Fit like a glove. Even the y-pipe has an excellent merge. We all have opinions, but I think American Racing has the best product.

My vote is for Kooks. Also if you have the extra money Kooks True duals sound freaking awesome!

Yeah I have a buddy with a firebird that runs Kooks Dual Exhaust and I love the sound, although I do have the budget for them, I was also wanting to buy a cheaper brand such as TSP's and then buy a stall. Thanks!

Yeah, ARH does produce great headers as well, such a hard choice for me because I'm torn between going with extremely nice headers or getting ones that get the job done and then saving for a stall.

Honestly I would say go with TSP. While there are many different header designs and they all produce something different, a header is a header. Unless you're trying to squeeze every last horse out of a motor i don't think you'd see significant differences between kooks or TSP, besides how thin your wallet gets.

Yeah the price is very high for kooks and that's what drove me to go with the TSP's. Thank you, might post a little build thread for this car.

Check out Speed engineering headers, Yes they are Chinese headers but they are also very nice polished stainless headers that many people have tried and are very happy with and they are only $279.99 Here is a very long thread on them https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...available.html
