I just had a LS1 built its a NEW block, Cam, Pistons, Heads & Fast intake.

I installed it, pulled the plugs crank it over & I had "NO" pressure.
I checked and "the oil plug" in front right side by the oil pump was not installed.

I installed the plug, cranked it over and getting about 25 lbs now with Royal purple break-in oil.
Started the engine and getting 25-30 Lbs of pressure.
I'm not sure now if the plastic plug on rear of engine was installed.
Is 25-30 at idle good? or do I need to take the engine out and check the rear plug or what?
what is a good oil pressure with all listed above?

Depends on what oil pump, spring, and if it is shimmed or not. For a stock pump with stock bypass spring and no shim, that's probably a fine oil pressure. Does it increase proportionately with RPM?
