Default Hi from The Bracketeer - New LSTech.com sponsor

Hi everyone,

The Bracketeer has just signed on as forum sponsor!

I manufacture and sell a Universal Fire Extinguisher Bracket that fits almost every GM vehicle from 1965 to present.

The Bracketeer Universal Car Fire Extinguisher clamps securely onto the front of the seat rail, putting the extinguisher out of the way, but within easy reach if needed.

To kick off my sponsorship, I would like to offer forum members a special discount of 20% Off - simply use the coupon code "LS1Tech" at checkout at http://www.thebracketeer.com

I have sold over 1,000 since launching last year, with a large number of those being installed in Camaros, Corvettes and G8s.

Neat idea. Are these legal at the track?

Also, what about cars with slider bars in the front?

Thanks!

It hasn't been officially tested or approved by any motoring groups, however I have sold a lot to guys tracking there cars and The Motorsports Safety Council are considering promoting it at the moment.

The slider bar depends on the car ... typically there is enough adjustment in the bracket to allow the extinguisher to either sit underneath the handle or in front of it.

It may limit some of your full forward movement, however typically not enough to make it an inconvenience.

These shots do a good job of explaining what I mean:
