Info on '10 L96, please Short story...
Bought '68 C10 and this engine came with it. The engine is totally dismantled except for crank, rods and pistons. Was told it came out of a 2010 Chevrolet Express with unknown miles. Heads are bare too, but looks like I have everything for them. I do have all of the intake parts and acc. Block number is 12576181 and heads are 823.
Question(more than likely the first of many) is what do I need to do to this engine to boost it? Not looking to make 1000hp, but would like it to be able to get out of its own way. I have no problem spending cash where needed, but would like to do this as cost effective as possible(cheap).
