Default Posi Traction

Hey guys, I DID get that Formula and I love it, I was driving a 2000 Tiburon and the difference is insane. Anyways, I dumped the clutch around 3000 rpms and my car started burning my tires down, I was by myself and couldn't get around to look at my marks, but since they rolled that easily I was wondering, my 99 Formula IS posi traction right... It's only got like 7 inch wide tires, nothing special YET. Just wondering if anyone can tell me, thanks in advance...

yes, it has posi. All of them do....when you have that sort of power it gets REAL easy to burn some rubber.

I appreciate it man, hate to ask such stupid question but I like to save my gas and rubber, it got sat on blocks at the dealership the night before I bought it so I got brand new rims and tires, 3500 bux retail they say, but I'll still hopefully get some 17x9.5's for the front and 17x11 for the back around September, anyways... thanks for the reply.

I'll search on this before I ask what it means, but if you care to leave your definition I'll listen.

A limited slip applies torque to the wheel that has the best grip (meaning not slipping or spinning). That is how when you dropped the clutch both tires spin since one is not grabbing better than the other. This allows for the wheels to turn at different rates when cornering thus allowing for better handling and tire wear. That is about as simple as I can put it.

Posi - Both tires spin at the same time no mater what
Limited Slip - Power goes to the wheel with the MOST traction

Thats the simple version...Ill let everyone else explain the rest.
