Default looking for an oil cap for valve cover with two tabs

Anybody know of a cap that attaches directly to the valve cover with 2 tabs? I removed the extended filler neck and just now learned that the valve cover has 2 tabs, but the original cap only has one slot for one tab.

I'll have a look at my old LS3 covers and see if there is something I can find. Could you post a picture of what you need?

I ended up making my own oil cap out of a vent cap. Shaved it, cut the rubber to fit, sealed it, and added fittings for a vacuum blowoff valve and vacuum line for my vacuum pump.

This doesn't sound like an over complicated thing if you end up having to make something. Grommets go a long way here.

If you can get the cover off you can use die grinder to remove one tab, That's what I did with my truck valve cover, Cap goes on normally after that.

Just had this issue, google or ebay

GM Oil Fill Tube 12609623

https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-14-LS3-L...087?rmvSB=true

The above is the link someone offered me. I had to do some digging to find the part number and get it cheaper.

Grinding off the tab will not work and keep the filler neck straight up

My LS1 with 241's originally had the single tab. The 10-14 Camaros and Vettes and the 09 or so G8's with the LS3/L99 use the 2-tab from what I had to research. I am sure there were more engines that used the 2-tab but I have never seen it until I got 799's for my build

That's what I did too. I could not find a cap to go right into the valve cover.

the one I ordered (#12609623) fit right in there. I will verify that it is the one I used when I get home today because I did order another one from rock auto that didn't fit.

He wants to eliminate the filler neck, That's why I said just grind of one tab and then the cap fits directly to the valve cover.

I have a 2011 6.0 ltr with a two tab valve cover. I didn't want to grind off the tab on the valve cover so I used a couple different dremel bits and ground the cap to accept the second tab. Before my dremel attached the cap
After a little grinding. Fits snug. I'll have to wait and see how well it seals.
