Default weiand alum intake

hey guys does anyone here ever use that weiand aluminum intake, or has had any expirence with it. Is it a good intake is the ls6 intake better as far as flow is concern or the lsx. give me your thoughts guys.

thank you mr Garison for yet another english lesson, and by the way don't like either one of those bands. just give me some old school metallica and other cool bands.

They heat-soak a lot worse than the plastic ones.
The idea was, supposedly you could port or extrude-
hone the aluminum one. Lots of griping about leaks /
fitment on early aluminum intakes. They seem to
never have developed much of a "fan base". With the
LSX also being port-able and even bigger, and big
sheet metal designs being out there, I think the cast
aluminum ones are kinda "who cares?" aside from the
appearance factor.

so does that mean that the weiand sucks or just some of the alum suck.
Anyone out there know of this intake or not??

i think high performance chevy magazine did a test on a bunch of different ls1 intakes in a couple of the issues. i may be wrong about the magazine, but i think the weiand was in it. i dont remember it being very high on the list as that was all i looked at.

old or new metallica by old i mean pre-black album metallica
