Is the 4L60-E from the f-body/corvette... the same tranny that's found in the v8 nbs trucks? And I mean down to shape and everything. Just wondering, becuase I will be swapping in a LS1/6

the input shaft on the vette is the same as the trucks, but not the f-body. dunno if a vette tranny can go into a truck or not. the ls1 will bolt up to your truck tranny, you just have to use a truck converter.
