Header question
Hi everyone, first post here.
I've read the guides and searched but I can't seem to find a clear cut anser to my question. Anyways, I live out in Arizona, where it rarely rains and where I rarely drive in it. I think in the last 2 years I've driven in the rain maybe 2 or 3 times. Now my question, considering it rains so little here, are coated headers really necessary? I'm just a kid making 6.50 an hour paying for payments, insurance, and gas, so an extra few hundred dollars means an extra couple of months worth of saving (See, not all kids are spoiled )
Thanks all.

coated headers are still worth it, beyond the weather protection. here in cali we dont get much rain either and my Jet hots still look brand new. they keep engine bay temps down as well. coated Pacesetters are only ~370$. or look around for used headers. i bought my jet hots, catted Y, and o2 extensions for 600.
