leaky t-tops
i have had my 00' Z for about 7 months and when i bought it it came with a 3,000 mile warranty. the first big rain it was in, (sorry, i park my 66' chevy truck and 69' camaro in the garage) it was like a small swimming pool in the back seat. i took it to the dealer and they had all the weatherstripping replaced. i thought it was fixed, but nooooooo. last week there was water in the back floorboard but not as much. i know it happens to lots of t-top owners, so someone tell me how to fix it please.

Do you have a set of subframe connectors installed? If not, you should get some. It might seem totally unrelated but stiffening up the chassis will help with squeaks and rattles, and even (so I've heard) T-roof panel issues. Even if it doesn't stop the rain from coming it, it's a worthwhile mod nonetheless

it won't stop leaks, because if your car is already warped (the frame) then subframes will only keep it from warping more; the existing warp probably won't change much, and if it does, it will take time to do so.
you should look where your t-tops seal to the rest of your car. if there is a gap in between the seal of the weatherstripping from the car and the top, you should take your t-top apart and adjust the weatherstripping accordingly. if you do this, you won't get water in you car due to having a poor seal anymore.
if all 4 seals look good, then it's a problem elsewhere. there are 1000 different possibilities. i would check the seals first. i solved my leakage problems by adjusting the seals.

I had SFCs installed on my car about two months ago. I never had a problem with my T-tops leaking, however after I had the SFCs installed they did fit much tighter. It was like night and day. The day that I got them installed I noticed it right away and have been happy with them ever since. I think getting a pair of SFCs will definitely help your problem if not solve it. Nevertheless, it definitely won't be a waste of money even if it doesn't solve the problem, b/c SFCs are a great mod for many reasons. Hope this helps and good luck.

I had a leak start after taking mine off and on a few times. It wasn't bad just some dripping. I noticed that the window seal on the top and the windsheild post weren't meeting together correctly. I re-seated the top and the dripping went away.

i dont know if it applies to 4th gens, but my old 2nd gen trans am would flex under torque so bad it would loosen the t-tops. i would adjust them and they would fit fine until i got on it again. so i agree with everybody else, get some sfc's and then adjust/tighten up the t-tops if the 4th gens allow that.

when i first bought my car '00 camaro (used - may '04) the head liner was all nasty, and hanging down around the edges. it looked as if water had got in from around the t-top area. but for as long as i have had the car (2 1/2 months ) it hasnt leaked at all. oh and i replaced the head liner with one that uses ABS plastic instead of a cardboard backer.

Yeah, I would think so. A shop with a frame machine should be able to check it, and correct any problems. Right after the car gets a seal of approval from the laser guided frame machine would be the perfect time to weld in some big, beefy SFC

Yeah mine does the same thing, it is deffinately from the t-tops. My frame is so twisted right now it is not even funny. I have a couple inches in the passenger rear floorboard almost every time it rains. Try cleaning that up every time. The mildew smell is starting to really get on my nerves. Good thing it is coming off the road soon anyway!
