Default Throttle/cruise cable differences 98-02

Hey guys,
I have kind of an unimportant question.
On the 02's the throttle cable is different when compared to a 98-01.
On the right front shock tower (just behind the battery) there is a unit that the throttle and cruise cables attatch to and then a cable runs to the TB.
What is different on an 02? Just curious thanks,
Dave Hounsell

Default

That unit is the TCS/ASR unit. It's not a matter of what year the car is, but whether it had traction control as an option.
