Guy at work wants to race This guy at my work just bought a 91 C4, everybody at work for some reason is very impressed with this car and is giving the guy a big head about it. Apparently this guy wants to run my car cause people are telling him that they want to see him smoke me. I looked under the hood and its just a TPI. I should be able to waste him no problem right?

..unless it's the special edition vette (which I HIGHLY doubt) that was powered by a 450hp Twin Turbo small block.
Odds are it's just a crawling C4. Most people see a Vette and think it's the fastest car out there. Prove them otherwise.

he has got to be kidding . . tell you what, REALLY embarass him and give him a 1 or 2 car head start.
Wonder what his excuse will be when you blow by him like he was going in reverse . . . make sure you get everyone to witness this

You'll destroy his ***- and shrink his head. I have never personally raced a C4- if it wasn't a ZR1 or Grand Sport I really wouldn't be worried. As a matter of fact, I haven't lost to the 4 or 5 C5's I raced (not a dig on C5's- they're badass.) Just my experience.

Uh, the Vette in question has 250hp AT THE FLYWHEEL! The TPIs make a ton of torque and he'll put up a fight to about 40-50 mph, then you will sonic boom his ***....

Yep...Make him put up or shut! Be sure to put a wager on the race in front of fellow co workers..that way he'll have to race you. (and pay you too). Just race him heads up so you'll have several car lengths on him at the end of the race.......then watch the excuses fly!
