putting the car on a diet is the hardest thing to do to your car!
the little things really dont help but if you go to far you loose lots of comfort items.....
you just need to figure out what you can live without and what the goals of the car are!

and then once you get past all the free bee items the $$$ ones are pretty expencive!
here are a few......

free be's...
-spare tire , jack 30+
-a/c 35+
-egr 5
-a.i.r. 5
-rear seats 15
-passanger seat 40+
-front sway 20+
-stereo+amps 40+
-wipers+res. 10
-airbags =225?

$$$...
-headers 20
-loudmouth 20
-k-member 35
-Ti lca, phb, 5
-lightweight batt. 25+
-lightweight carpet 25+
-wheels 60
-brakes 20
-racing seat 30
-steering wheel 5
-flywheel 10
-pully 5
=260

grand total 485 lbs....lost car is now 3015....more like a Zo6 now

I found lighter wheels help alot, also try the bumper supports, it kinda goes back to how far are you willing to take it.
