I can't help you out technically, but I can encourage your most excellant idea. Nice. Let us know how she turns out. If it's a good thing, it may be added to my list.

i don't see many guys with F-bodies wanting to spend $2-4k on one of these to warrant mass production....maybe the convertible Mercedes/BMW crowd would. and to custom build one....considering the R&D cost, engineering, aerodynamics, safety, etc....damn, that's alot more than just buying another used LS1 with a hardtop.

i think a company had one for the SN95 Mustang from 94-98, but hardly anyone wanted to shell out that kind of money for one so i don't think there's one available for the SN95 99+ Mustangs. and mustangs outsell all fbodies combined by more than 3 to 1.

the mustang one is available, only cause ford had 499 of them made for the 95 cobras.

they'll work on the 99+ too, buy might require small modifications to the latching ect.

I would like one of these, but I think with the way
the trunk lid is set up it would be hard to fit it right.
You really want a stub of deck to set it on, and
have the trunk lid free.

Any custom fiberglass shop would probrably be able to take on this task. However, cost would be a major issue, my dads friend owns a custom fibergalss shop. He was one of the only guys in the country making hard tops for the Vipers before they came with them from Dodge. It was a much simple piece than a camaro hard top would be and to make any money on them he was having to sell them for $3K.
