Camaro squeak

Camaro squeak Soon after I bought my 98 Camaro Z28 I heard a squeak from under the hood. It was coming from the belt because it went away after I put some belt dressing on it. I changed the belt which cured it for a while but not too long after it started again. 
This time it stops after a while at low rpms yet comes back at around 2k rpms. I don’t know if I got a bad belt or what but my friend thinks it needs some new pulleys. I just want to know if there is a common problem with LS1 camaros with the belt system. Thanks for your time.
