Default Roller Rockers Stock?

"Since our cars are made w/ roller rockers they are basically built to take racing. I dont think racing 3 times in a row will hurt you as long as you take care of ur car u will b fine. I dont think their are many ls1's out their they dont get a beating most of their life."

I pulled this from another post...and I was wondering if this is true (stock roller rockers)??? Didn't know that... please let me know if this is true thx!

I thought the roller bearings that end up in the oil
pan, were from the trunion (roller tips are just a simple
axle)?

I have read the same and that when racing higher than 6200 rpm you run much more of a risk.

If you find needle bearings in your oil pan from a oil change contact a dealership. There is a service bulletin for same. But, I do not know if it has to be under warranty, though i believe it does.

From my understanding it does have to be under warranty to fix that problem for free. As for rpms. I am sure that if you just drive with common sense and take car of your engine it wont cause any problems.

BTW Vertigo: wherea are you located in nova...I work in herndon, and unfortunatly commute in my Z from Winchester for now.
