Just want to know if they are both bone stock and same driver skill. With same tires, who do u think win. I saw vid for mach 1 and it kill SS, any statement

Stock for stock it is a drivers race. Both cars are pretty much equal, don't quote me on this but I think the LS1s trap alittle bit better.

I've beat one on the track and the street. Seems the m6 ls1's will normally trap higher than the mach 1.

F-bodies are more powerful and weigh nearly the same. The only chance a Mach 1 has is the 3:55 gears.

i did beat a stock one (5-speed) from a 20 roll by about a car and a half....at the time i ONLY had a lid and loudmouth and as you can see mine's an A4.

I thought my car came with a 3.55 gear, or was it 3.42's? I say stock LS1 beats stock Mach one or Cobra (not '03). But that's just from my personal observations.

I have only seen 1 run at the track, a 5speed with exhaust and he was running 9.20-9.10's. The Mach's are cool cars, and I agree with UNIT213 if its stock for stock it would be a drivers race with our cars holding an ever so slight advantage it driven properly. However, Mod for Mod our cars should hold a pretty good edge. I've seen N/A Mach's with all the Major bolt-ons put down anywhere from 310 up to 333. We all know what we can get out of our cars in N/A form of course. But again the Mach is still a pretty cool ride. Just my worthless .02

stock mach 1 = -20hp
stock mach 1 = less aerodynamic
stock mach 1 = -15 lb/ft torque

stock mach 1 = will lose

I can beat them in my stock Z though not by much.

i raced one a couple of months back. mostly did it cause she looked good. wasn't much of a race, but she was stock except for a flowbastard cat back. cars aren't slouches. stock ls1's need to get their wheaties before they pick a race with one

I don't know about you mate, but my car is geared way down at 2.73. Up top, the LS1 for cheezy, but from a dig, and into the quarter traps..... very close race indeedy.

Mach 1 has a better 1st & 2nd tranny gear with the slightly better 3.55s out back. The fact that Machs make less torque actually helps them get outta the hole easier. I'd say 1/8 is all Mach 1, 1/4 is gonna be close with a slight edge for the SS, and anything after the 1/4 is all Chevy. This is assuming both cars are manual tranny... Auto tranny vs. auto tranny, I give the Mach 1 no chance...

My SS beats my friend's WS-6. My friend's WS-6 beats a Mach 1. Do the math. But as always the good driver mod makes a huge difference.
