will car pass inspection in TX w/ ory? I was told that if i got an off road y-pipe, my car would not pass inspection in houston. Is this true?

If they do OBDII testing and your O2 codes are erased, then it shouldn't be a problem. I think its just DFW and Houston that do OBDII, the rest of the state is visual.

Mine passed for the normal price, $35 bucks or whatever it is. ORY, no EGR, no air pump.
All they did was honk the horn, , turn on the lights, check the gas cap, and plug in the computer.
As long as you don't have a chack engine light, the car will pass everything BUT the visual inspection.
