Default Looking for 400rwhp combo.

Hi Guys,
I'm new in the forum. I just purchased a 2001 C5. Bone stock. Looking to Spank a stock Z06. Are there any Combo packages out there to get me approx 400rwhp.
Thanks,
Boo

All the bolt-ons make a substantial difference, as does a good tune. Oh and don't forget a good tuner who you can work with.

You have to remember that the Z-06 is 405 flywheel hp not rwhp that is a big difference. They usually dyno right at 365hp/365tq at the rear wheels.

MTI stage 2 heads, Comp 224/228 ~.580/.590 and 114, FLP Headers, Magnaflow catback netted 412hp to the wheels with an 04 C5 through a 2600 or 2800 stall. M6 numbers should be a bit stronger.

Or an NX wet kit 100-150 jetting should do the trick.

If it's a 6 speed that is, and even that isn't all that common...keep in mind that this is an LS1 C5 not a Z06.

I'm surprised no one has asked yet, is it a 6 speed or auto?

he already has the LS6 intake since his C5 is an '01 model. Headers, cam, and a tune should do the trick. Tires are very important also.

Thank You guys for all the responses. I have had some input on possibly putting a pro-charger set-up on, but seems pretty expensive. What are some thoughts on the
differences between natural asperated and supercharged systems. I have always loved the muscle car sound, especially on the new looking technology. I live in NJ AND WILL be looking for a GOOD Tuner and to have the work done!!
Thanks again for the help!!
By the way the car has a 6speed

magnacharger makes a retrofit kit that bolts up in place of your air intake. REALLY nice! I have a customer at work who had this setup on his Z06. He said it was making 550 rwhp with all bolt ons and stock internals. He has since went the twin turbo route and is making close to 650 I think. Good luck.

NJ eh? That state's really been making news lately!
