no, considering you can get them from a sponsor coated for less then 400. 500 is a good deal only if there coated and the ORY is included. the Y is a crapshoot though and i really wouldnt purchase it myself.

Are they ceramic coated? If so then I would say thats about average. We got mine from Texas Speed for a little less than 500 I believe (headers and ory). As far as the headers go I have no complaints so far. They dont bang at all which was the main thing I was worried about . All in all I would say they are a pretty good bang for the buck.

NO.... Get the ones from a sponser for like 400 shipped. They are a great header for the price but not for 500 from some other guy!...

Just like everyone else has said..

If they're coated and it includes LT's and ORY, go for it. If it's for headers only, tell him to shove it.

Check out ------>

yea, since you can get them coated directly from sponsers from $500, and you always expect some sort of mark down when u buy from an individual(since you usually don't get the same warranty as if u bought new).....either tell him to drop that price a good bit, or just leave that alone and buy it from a sponser. texas speed always has them at those prices listed above.

The quotes from the site equals 499.98 Plus shipping it is more than 500.

If those pacesetters he is talking about comes with a y, he is getting a deal. Depending on the age or if it has to be shipped.

My brother recently got the headers and ORY and the Y pipe was pretty nice. Fits good and flows good.

nope, for one its BRAND NEW parts, and what is shipping like $20? and is the $500 used pacesetters not banged or starting to rust? $500 probably doesnt include shipping either. ive had my pacesetters for about 2k miles and the flange is starting to get surface rust and their dirty from driving on dirt roads, the ypipe is messed from banging it into place. the only way in heck i would pay $500 for used pacesetters and ypipe is if they were never installed. but do what you want.
