Default Throwout Bearing?

Hi guys. Excuse my ignorance as I'm not really very proficient at mechanic work... YET! I'm getting there. My question is how difficult is it to replace a throwout bearing? Do I need to drop the transmission to do this? Thanks in advance

Yes, you have to drop the tranny.

once you get the tranny out , its like changing the air filter.
