Question Race Fuel?

i was wondering if anyone has ever used 112 or 114 in a mostly stock (no internal mods) LS1. i didnt know if it would screw anything up. the guy at the track told me it would screw up the cats but i cut them off. and if it is safe would it make any diff?

Save your money. With a few big mods, 100 works good but above that you're pissing up a rope. Plus, most race gas above 100 I've seen is leaded.

Yeah make sure its not leaded or you will burn up 02s and your cats if you have them. On a basically stock car its a waste of money to run anything higher than 93 or so.

No need to run race fuel with a pretty much stock car. Forced induction is a different story..all about the detonation.
