For those of you with an SS I was wondering, are the factory SS (LS1 of course) oem hoods made of steel or fiberglass? My next mod for the Z will be the hood but I dont want a cheap fiberglass immitation. I was wondering what to look for in a hood, and get an oem if thats the way to go.

They call it "composite" (I don't know the matrix
or the fiber composition). But it's of a quality that
is way better than the aftermarket fiberglass hood
I bought for my El Camino (though I shopped price
and not quality, on that one).
