Default pic of my new trans am, time to mod!

Hello everyone, here is a picture of my new 99 Trans Am (named Cali ) with 34,000 miles that I picked up for $12000. Since I am 19 and a poor college student, the first mod I think I am going to buy is a us exotics ws9 ram air hood for it. Anyone have any suggestions to wither I should buy a WS6 air box, stay with my current one, or get something else. Thanks

Get an air lid. They work the best along with SSRA or FTRA. Do searches for these items and you'll see what I'm talking about. Nice car, btw. And I'm a broke college kid too.

Default cat back

I would start out with a cat back, Depending on what you get it it's fairly cheap compared to other mods for gen III f-bodies. I learned that from trading in my mustang for my camaro, I could not believe how much more parts were, but you have to pay for technology. Oh yeah it will sound mean too.

EDIT: sweet car

I thought about doing the exhaust first, but if I did do it I want to do headers, cats, y-pipe, and cat back all at once and with corsa cat back its too expensive. I think im going to do ram air first for the look.

Consider a Firehawk hood before a WS9. They are a little less blatant, and look better IMHO. Good to hear man, I am a 21yo college student with a big project

first think you have to do is go smoke some mustangs, then get a catback, lid, and if its a m6, get rid of that shifter and get a pro 5.0. Then get rid of those cats and get you a y pipe and some long tubes. then take it to the track and run the pis out of it. soon as your running 12's your making some progress.

Did anyone else notice this guy call his car a third gen? Third generation f-bodies came from 82-92 buddy, LS1's came in fourth gens.
Unless you mean Gen III small block chevy engine maybe?
