stock exhaust manifolds??

Default stock exhaust manifolds??

I was lookin at my manifolds and they look like headers, because of the round tubing, most stock r cast right... just curious.. i bought the car used so better if they r, less 4 me 2 do

Early years had double-wall tubular manifolds that might
look like header construction, but unless they are individual
tubes all the way to the floorpan, they are not worth
getting excited over.

The 00-02 f-bodies basically had shorties, but since yours is a 98 that couldnt be. Maybe you just think they look like headers?

`97-`99 had the double wall stainless manifolds, as said above, they kind of look like shorty headers. `00-present have cast iron manifolds that look like every other GM exhaust manifold made. `00-present are actaully better flowing, or so I have been told.
