I have a question with lids....
Guys,
I recently picked up a 1999 Firehawk and I'm looking to start modding the car now that I've had it for a week I have a friend who's parting out his 01 and has an aftermarket lid but will an 01 lid work on a 99 car. I hate asking newbie questions like this but I'm starting all over again because my 2001 Firehawk was stolen back at the beginning of the summer and that car had all the bolt-on's plus motor work and I bought everything new... After my last experience I want to look for some good used parts.
Thanks in Advance.

If it is a Lid that features the extra connection for the emisions hose, such as the SLP, you will need to block that port off, because I believe 98 and 99 did not feature this. Most lids, however, do not this port to worry about. Otherwise, as jrp said, you are good to go.
