Default 98-02 camaro bra?

Anyone have a suggestion for a good bra to put on my 2000 z28? Are there any good ones that fit & dont look bad? I have some clear coat coming off the front nose now so I want to temp fix it then put the bra on to cover her up till I paint the car again later.

I think the best one is by Colgan, at least that's what
I dug up 3 years back when I bought mine (never have
put it on the car).

I don't think you want to run around with it on there
full time, once grit gets behind it you will end up making
more scratches than without it. Which is why I'm saving
it for road trips.

I have to drive my car anywhere from 20/60 miles a day 5 days a week its a daily driver but I keep it clean. I wash it about 3 or 4 times a week. But this isnt the first time I have had a screw up with the clear coat. It has come off in a coupe of smaller places on the front & back lower bumper skirts behind the wheels. I can sorta fix those so they dont peel anymore. I just do alot of driving so I might need to get one because of rock chips like the one that started this cleat coat peel on the nose.

i dont know where to get one, but i have been wondering the same thing myself. Last road trip i took, i got a ba-gillion rock chips; i want to get a bra for longer mileage trips. But I dont plan to just drive around daily with it on.

Afterthoughts Auto has several different brands (and they are a sponsor) (I took a quick look and at least one of the brands does make one for an LS1 Z28)

I have one made by LaBra that works pretty good. I use it mostly for long trips. Like the other guys say, if you have it on all the time it will cause other problems. Just make sure to take it of regularly and clean both the bra and the car so you don't scratch up the paint.

I have used my Colgan custom bra several times and I really like it. Had a LeBra before that and it was a real POS! The backside of the Colgan bra is very soft.

I have a CoverCraft bra for my SS. I have used it about 10 times in the last 3 years for long trips. It fits very tight and does not leave any marks.

I just ordered a Colgan bra and mirror covers for my Z. The total came to $116. Shipping was free.

I got it from here http://www.car-truck-accessories.com.

Here are the part numbers.
CCMC578 - Mirror covers
CCPR937 - Bra

I will show pictures when I get in on my car.

Bra is a bad idea on these cars. I ditched mine after having it on for a month - even on a fresh layer of wax it creates more scratches then it covers - although I did like the look.

Yup...I know they make one for the TA, WS6, and TA Firehawk. Never found one for a Formula Firehawk..and don't know if they make one for the Formula or not..but I imagine they do.

I have a CoverCraft for the Formulas..
I only use it on long trips...
Occasionally I have kept it on for only a week at a time..

NEVER Leave em on for more than a week,..particularly if it gets wet...
I've never had any problems with the paint, and its nice to toss one on if ya REALLY think your gonna need it during a trip...

EDIT:
I got it at Speed Inc. www.ls1speed.com
They should have what ya want... They were the only one's that I knew of that had a cover for firebird/formula facias...
