E20 : Focus Error Cause(s): The CD player cannot focus on the disc or there is an internal focus problem. Correction(s): Try cleaning the disc or using a new disc. Make sure the disc is loaded correctly. The road could be too rough or there is too much humidity. If the problem is not corrected, service the unit at an ACDelcoŽ Service Center.

thats what i found. try cleaning it like it says, or get a new h/u

Tried cleaning with that spray you can get for computers, didn't seem to help. I live in College Station, Texas where the humidity is about 80-90% (or more) daily so that could be a major factor.

i don't know if its the same...but in my 98 Grand am, i get that error when its cold. Im just guessing that they fog up when they slide in...after a few min...they'll work fine.

Thats been happening to me since I've owned the car. It sucks though, because a new one from GM is $400, and any decent one from the after market is at least $200, plus the install or harness kit, or whatever, plus the kit to use the steering wheel controls, plus labor for all of it.

My dealer quoted me 895 for a new Monsoon head unit!

Got one from a salvage yard for 195, just like new.
