Default I need a cam!

Hey guys, ive got a 00 Z m6 mods so far is qtp 1-3/4" headers off road x pipe mti lid and tr55's im planning on putting a cam in the car and I want good hp gains but i would like to have them in the low to mid range more than top end i was looking at the X3 cam but ive heard thats a total top end cam. Any imfo u guys have would help, I dont know what all the numbers on the cams mean so search didnt do me any good thx

http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=23 will explain a pretty good bit on what the numbers mean. More information is needed as far as driveablity. Most people are happy with a thunder racing 224 114 cam. My tastes are much bigger 244/249 but some say thats extreeme

my car is daily driver but i have alot of friends w/the x3 and they say drivability is great but i want a cam that has good low and mid power and torque so any suggestions would be awesome

TSP 225/225, TR 224, FM11 all would work great for ya.

Anywhere from 35-50 hp probably. Depends on tune and if you're an A4 or M6.

I would also recommend the TSP 233/233 torquer and the TSP 233/239 for midrange usable torque. While big hp numbers are impressive, the torque and where its ranges are, are the most important IMO when it comes to actual performance.
