Question Interesting problem, I need an explenation.

Ok, this is about my truck but I need to figure it out. It is a '66 chevy truck with the gas tank behing the seat which you fill up from the side of the cab. After filling it up, I left it out on the street for about an hour. Came back outside and it was slowly trickling out of the filler neck. Took off the cap and it came out even faster. So I started it up and it went back down and I thought I fixed it, but a couple minutes later, the same thing. It was about 70 degrees outside and it gets down to about 30 here in OK. This has never happened before and now the truck is only running on 7 cylinders. I think the change in temps and pressure maybe had something to do with it. Gimme some input.
