Default how much should my car go for?

Hi everyone, i got a 98' ta, i had bought it for 14,700 with 58k on it. From reading on here I've sen alot of people buy one for alot less tha that, but keep in mind im in the boston area and f-bodys dont come cheap here. It has 85k on it now. 6 speed, metallic red, flawless. I also have a few mods. I put a ram air hood on it, SLP cold sir intake, and SLP loudmouth exhaust. I plan on selling it in the fall 05' before it hits 100k, how much should I sell it for and if anyone is interested lemme kno.

For a 98 with that many miles on it $8500-$9500 sounds like kinda offers you are going to fetch for it, 100k is alot of miles.

Doesn't matter where you live or if the cars are "hard" to come by, the price is generally the same... they will only pay what THEY feel it's worth.. I'm picking up a 99 with 19k miles on it for 15k which is still a little pricey IMO but well worth it sence the car was garaged nearly its entire life ( still on the factory brake pads ).

I just bought a '00 T/A Firehawk with 21k in N.H. I paid $17,5. The car is all stock, except for the SLP Chrome wheels, which are MIA. I don't know for sure, but I've been told I got a bargain.

yeh firehawks demand alittle higher price, as do ss's and ws6's...
and with those , the less molested they are the more they get....

I'd say that's a decent deal for a firehawk.

To the author of the thread....if you get $9500 consider yourself lucky.

A month ago, I bought my '98 SS convert w/48K for $11,200 at a Chevy dealer. Of course it was in the middle of January in northern Ohio. Not really convert weather but a great deal, IMO.

Check out Edmunds.com. You'd be a master salesman if you could get the high dealer price. You'd be doing well to get the private party number.

$9500 is a decent place to start. That's about what Edmunds lists an "Outstanding" T/A all loaded up at.

Good luck!
