Default insurance reduced..

I'm very excited. I switched my insurance to AIG today, and they gave me a better rate by almost $1,000 than any other insurance company! I'm saving almost $2,000 than I was at my old insurance company!! feww... feels reallllllyyyy good. I though I'd say something since I'm sure most of you have high insurance like me and maybe AIG can offer you something better as well..

Nice Stephanie!! I saved 2800 switching to Geico (damn I sound like a commercial )....my old insurance company was charging me 4800 bucks a year (for the T/A only) and 2000 for my '92 Olds Cutlass Supreme with 160K miles) for a grand total of 6800 I was pissed, my agent quoted me 2K less. When I called the insurance company and asked them to review the policy and the quote I had gotten they flat out said "NO!" Well their lose.

yea same with me, they went to review all the stuff on my record and was like we can't do any better so i called back and told them i was dropping them. Then they asked why i was leaving them and i told them i was saving almost $2000 at another place and the girl was like, oh wow, i'd switch too then. Thats what i feel, their lose. For some reason AIG offered me a better quote then gieco by i think $200 for 6 mos.. not bad..

Just curious if anyone evers wonders about the service they'll get.I know saving alot of money is a plus, but what if you need to put in a claim and their service sucks and they fight you all the way.Somehow it ends up costing you more out of pocket.Guess i dont know if you've ever had a claim and how it was handled.
Just something to look out for when shopping for ins.

Damn woman! 2 Grand? I'd call that major savings.

AIG is pretty well known so you shouldnt have any issues. Remember as long as your paying too much for insurance, you'll never have to file a claim.

wow not bad.. Right now my insurance is $1800ish for 6 mos with 2 cars (91 rs camaro and the 98 ws6).. not too bad for a 19 year old with an at fault accident 2 years ago? (btw- that accident was crap.. but i learned to stay far away from cars in front of me cause you'll never know when someone just decides to stop in the middle of a turnpike..)

1800 isn't too bad, I am paying just under 1100 a month for my 98' trans am with full coverage and my 94' daily driving six banger mustang through all-state. They gave me the best rate so far and at 23 I can't complain
