98 camaro

okay, the other night a layed down some serious rubber in my alleyway (shoulda put it on video) i was taking it up pretty high in rpm's and letting it come back down again then on it again.....so i dont drive the car for a week but when i do im starting to notice the temp is really rising 220 area....it'll go down when driving..(obviously) but when im at a stop it rises quickly. Now theres no water or anything leaking, radiator is topped off and the fans are working...i'm thinking i maybe warped the heads??? Any input....

Well you have a 98 which was the only year to have an accurate temp gauge. 99+ F-bodies came with an idiot gauge meaning it just shows "normal" and overheating.
